About what we do
Growing Global is Village Aid’s three year DfID (Department for International Development) funded project targeted at rural primary schools.
The Growing Global programme has three key stages:
Year 1: Research and development - Developing the TiE (Theatre in Education) programme.
Now complete
Year 2: Theatre-in-Education tour around small rural and primary schools, developing Teacher Resources and website, administering bookings and follow up with schools.
Now complete
Year 3: Professional Development - develop and deliver INSET (In Service Training) and CPD (Continued Professional Development) opportunities. Create a Teacher Network to develop interactive aspects of the website.
